Exciting July...

Now this week was Super Exciting. So many things I have to share.

First of my comic The Beast Legion, not only reached 2 years but also 300 pages. I'm very proud that I've managed to keep the comic going solo & it's not about to change. So in order to celebrate this, I created a very special blog entry not just for my readers but for upcoming web comic artists in general. Moving on , On Friday I finally decided to get the long awaited Wacom Intuos 5 tablet & I think it's the best decision I've ever made. The whole experience of working with it is Fantastic. Not only does it far surpass the Intuos 3 but also has s touch mechanism which makes zooming/rotating piece of cake.

Absolutely loved the way Kishimoto handled Kabuito throughout the series. Kabuto always had the potential to be a great character & I felt he was used to the fullest in the latest Chapters. Here's a littler fan art dedicated to the guy.

Naruto Fan Animation: Kage's Speech & Naruto v/s Madara

So my Naruto Fan video is about to reach over 500k views. It's probably one of my first vids to make it this big. I know there re some love/hate comments but i guess that's part of being an animator. Enjoy it, if you haven't already.

These are 2 OCs that I decided to draw at the drop of a hat. started with the good guy & when I was done I just had to create ab antagonist for him. Ironically though, I usually work the other way round.  Still hope you enjoy these. :) I really don't have any story planned for these but I'm sure something will come up in due time.

GOKU Redesigned

If you're an anime fan or a fan of cartoons in general, GOKU from DragonBall Z is synonymous with hero material. I did this for a redesign challenge on Deviantart & thought I'd share it here as well.

Fullmetal Frenzy!

Fullmetal Alchemist is certainly one of the best Anime out there. The first seasonwas great but Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood has taken everything to a whole new level & I for one am loving the story archway better than the first. I've been meaning to do an FMA pic for ages now & finally yesterday was the day. After 4 1/2 hours of coloring in Pshop, here we go. One of my proudest pieces of work.

So we have Ed & Al Elric taking on the first Homuculus Pride in the form of Selim Bradley. What? You don't know who they are?! Go watch the Anime, man!

Last of the Elves

This is one of my best works in my opinion. IT's based of a concept I'm trying to develop known as "Valiant: The Last Elf". I posted the villains in an earlier post so hewre's thew main protagonist for good measure. :) Enjoy.

Chronicles of the Forgotten Realm- Staction Intro

Most of you from He-man.org have already seen this, but I haven't posted it on the blog yet. This 3 months to make & i finished it earlier in 2009. There is an Amazingcontest we have at He-man.org held by the ever so talented Thomas Tolman http://www.dinnertablecreations.tolmanbros.com . Every year the wining character design gets transformed into a staction figure. Tom's been hosting this for 5 straight years & I thought I'd contribute a little. Plus the Animator in me just couldn't wait to give life to some off these Awesome characters. Remember they are not my characters( only 2 are) they were created by various .orgers & are either semi finalists of last year & winners of previous years. So without further adue. Here we go!

An Actual Update! After a year. :P Ben 10 Aliens...

First I'm going to hide behind a rock to avoid anyone throwing stones at me. Actually I deserve it for not updating my blog for over a year. :P It's just that things have been really up & down between learning 3d, working on my own stuff & family life.
