Next up inline, Here a concept I got a few weeks back. It's just my redesigns of the ancient Greek gods with a bit of a 'Modern' feel to it. Each have their own weapons & I'm seeing this from a toy line perpective.
------Act 3 : The Chase (4 mins)--------
The troops immediately started patrolling the streets of Lithopia. The King didn’t want the people to get excited & continued the festivities with a heavy heart.
Meanwhile in the eastern streets of the city , the two criminals are seen running for their lives with the palace guards in got pursuit.
Gorgo: “You’re crazy Glitch, I told you the Royal guard would find us one way or another. It was just too big a risk & now I’m tangled in this with ya!”
Glitch( sitting on Gorgo’s back with the scepter): “Shut up & start running, ya big lout! If things go well we’re going to live like kings. Take the next left.”
On turning Gorgo stopped for a while, trying to rest up.
Glitch: “What are you waiting for, the guards are on our tail.”
Gorgo: “Shut up. I can’t go much further. You’re the reason I got involved in this. I’m not going to go on any longer!”
“And miss the opportunity to become rich?” s voice spoke from the shadows as the cloaked figure approached .
Glitch: “We’s gots what ya wanted. Now where’s the rewards ya promised.”
Glitch showed the scepter. As the Figure rose his hands forward to grab it, the scepter passed a surge through him & he crashed against the wall.
Mysterious Figure: “Curse the Ancient Wizards & their spells.” He grumbled as he got back to his feet.
“It appears I may have another task for you before the reward is distributed.” The figure spoke narrowing his eyes.
Glitch: “No way! Our deal ends here”
Mysterious Figure: “Well then, I guess you wouldn’t mind spending the rest of your lives in the dungeons while I make away with the scepter now do you?” he laughed.
The sound of guards across the street was eminent & the scepter had emitted a bright light.
Glitch: “OK! OK! You win get us out of here.” he shouted in panic.
Mysterious figure: “Excellent! I knew you’d see things my way.”
He clasped his fingers & a giant shadow gathered under the three of them & almost transforming into a liquid-like substance pulled them inside slowly.
The guards arrived at the scene but didn’t find anything as the shadow headed south away from the city.
One of the guards attached a message to a carrier bird’s leg & sent it to the palace. On reaching the bird sat on the Captain’s shoulder.
Captain: “Message from Eastern patrol, Sire” he saluted.
King Vokan: “What does it say, Captain!”
Captain: “The guards were in pursuit of Glitch & Gorgo & had them cornered, but the thieves suddenly disappeared, as if they vanished into the shadows.”
King Vokan looked at his queen.
King Vokan: “Koylax?”
Queen Illeana: “I see no other with such powers. He may have slipped through. There is no time; we must place Xeus under HIS charge.”
King Vokan breathed a long sight.
King Vokan: “Maybe you’re right. We will activate the beacon!”
------------Act 4 : The Summoning(5-6 mins)-------------
The scene switches to the Blood cliffs & onto a dreadful mountain peek with a fortress on the top.
The shadow moves passed the unsuspecting guards into the inner sanctum of the fortress, into a large room with monstrous statues all over & a giant Dragon statue in the Middle of the room.
Glitch, Gorgo & the cloaked figure rose back from the shadow.
Mysterious figure: “Now for the final step, place the scepter in the center of the Dragon’s mouth, Glitch!”
Gorgo interrupted: “Not until we see our bounty, big guy.”
Mysterious Figure: “Bounty? Yesss!”
The figure clapped his hands twice & the wall on the left disappeared. Behind it were crystals of all sorts. Gorgo ran towards them and picked up a few to check whether they were real & they were.
Glitch: “You see! This guy wasn’t kidding when he said we’d be richer than kings. So , all I need to do is place the scepter here?”
The Mysterious Figure’s eyes glowed with anticipation: “Yesss…That’s all!!”
Glitch didn’t give a second thought & inserted the scepter. At that very moment his hand stuck to the scepter & he screeched in pain as the Dragon statues eyes began to emit glow which increased. Gorgo ran to save his companion but was pushed away by the power emitted in the room.
Gorgo looked the cloaked figure & shouted: “ Save him!! Please!”
The figure turned his eyes towards Gorgo: “ No need! It will all end soon, Human.”
Gorgo: “Human! Then what in the name of the ancients are you?!”
Just then the roof opened & the shadow of the aligned planets fell on the Dragon statue creating a doorway to The Hell Hole & from it emerged a figure that sent a chill down Gorgo’s spine.
The figure looked majestic, yet eerie. It appeared to be a man with purple skin & flashing blue eyes with a red glow. He seemed to be clad with an armor resembling a Dragon’s face on his chest. Both his arms were covered with black cloth.
The Ground began to break outside as the guards began to escape. Spikes darted out from the floor surrounding the entrance.
Dragos gave an eerie laugh as he stepped out of the portal & the doorway closed behind him.
Gorgo turned to look at the mysterious cloaked figure who had got them here, but only saw the cloak on the floor as a shadow moved from the cloak & tangled itself round Dragos taking the form of a serpent like Dragon, with flashing red eyes.
Dragos: “ You have done well my pet, Koylax. Now it is time to finish what I once started.” He spoke as a grin appeared on his face.
The lights grew dimmer until the room reverted back to it normal dark form & glitch was thrown aback with one of his arms missing.
Gorgo ran & caught Glitch from crashing into a wall.
Gorgo: “We’ve made a big mistake.”
But Glitch still didn’t learn & spoke “You mean to say all this time we were being working for a dragon. Now that everything’s done, where’s our bounty Dragon man.”
Dragos levitated towards the two thieves & raised his arm. A flash of lightning gathered on his palm.
Dragos: “A reward is what you want, but death is all you’ll get, feeble mortals.”
Koylax’s eyes grew wide in anticipation as Dragos was about to zap the two renegades. Glitch & Gorgo tried to shut their eyes tight as they knew they had no way out. A sound of lightning was heard, but when the two opened their eyes they were sill intact.
Dragos spoke in a dark tone: “Well it seems fate is on your side humans. I am bound by the code of the Dragon Lords to never destroy those who help me & my cause.”
Glitch breathed a sigh of relief although he had great pain loosing his arm. He laughed out.
Glitch: “So you’re trying to tell us, that you the almighty Dragos can’t even touch us!!”
Gorgo( giving Glitch a knock on the head.): “ Why don’t you shut up for a change, Stupid!”
Dragos had an almost psychotic smile on his face as he raised his arms once more. His blue eyes glowed as the floor surrounding the two thieves rose vertically. Spikes grew from the base of the walls facing each other. Glitch & Gorgo were surrounded as the walls began to close in.
Dragos: “I can’t directly kill you, but I can make you suffer as slowly as I wish… Unless of course you join my army of Terror. Then maybe you two could be in charge of some small territory rather than suffering for Eternity. The choice is yours.”
The spikes began to close in faster & almost touched Glitch’s nose when they shouted.
Glitch: “We Accept! We accept your Offer, Dragos!”
The walls broke down & took the shape of the floor once more.
Sweat poured from the skin of the two thieves who had almost seen death up close.
Dragos laughed: “You see! That wasn’t a very hard choice now, was it?”
He then levitated towards Glitch: “You think you’ve lost your arm? Why don’t you concentrate & see what your arm is now capable of?”
Glitch concentrated as his arm reformed. He couldn’t believe his eyes.
Dragos: “You see, The Shadow legion offers you power you can’t even dream of. Try concentrating again.”
Glitch concentrated & this time his arm turned into a sickle as he slashed one of the pillars.
Glitch: “Now that’s what I calls power. We’re with ya boss man!” he laughed in excitement continued to shape shift his arm.
Dragos: “Excellent! Then let this be the day Darkness reigns supreme over the world of humans. Lets this be the day of my conquest of Lithopia!’
“Halt right there!” shouted one of the guards as he & a few others surrounded the room. Their legs shivered at the sight of Dragos, but they had to perform their duty.
Dragos simply turned his neck & give an irritated look.
Dragos: “Pathetic Human scum.” he spoke.
With that a blue flame engulfed the Dark wizard taking the form of a Dragon & headed straight for the guards surrounding the door flinging them completely off course. There were explosions everywhere & as the smoke cleared only that one guard stood unhurt. He knew he could do nothing & ran outside.
Dragos petted Koylax & smirked.
Dragos: “You see how easy it is to break their valor.”
Koylax gave a hissing Laugh: “Indeed!”
Dragos: “Now then! Its time to wake my Warriors from their stoned sleep. Let the Shadow Legion Rise!” Dragos shouted as he wielded both his arm up in the air.
The room began to shake & monstrous voices were heard. Glitch & Gorgo looked all around as the statues surrounding the room began to break down as glows of light emerged from each of them. Within a matter of moments creatures of different shapes & sizes surrounded the room. Some of them were clearly seen, while some of their appearances were hidden by shadows.
Dragos’ laugh echoed across the halls of the fortress as the creatures gave a loud war cry.
One of them included a massive warrior, at least 8 feet tall, with red eyes , his arms were clad with massive gauntlets. His shear walk shook the floor as he bowed in front of his Master. His name was Stampede, second in command of the Shadow Legion & Dragos’ most loyal follower.
Stampede: “It is a privilege to serve you once again, Lord Dragos.” he spoke in a hard yet dignified voice.
Dragos: “Excellent! Prepare for the attack. Waste no time! I want this world to fall before the power of the Shadow Legion! Before the power of Dragos!”
Stampede: “It shall be done.”
As Stampede got up to his feet His shadow began to widen until it covered the entire room & spread even more as he began to walk out of the Fortress with the other creatures following him.

Darkness Rising
Preface Flashback: (200 seconds)

“In a world of fantasy, The
The ancient wizards throughout the land united to stop this rising Evil & developed a set of mystical armors each possessing a unique property. These armor pieces allowed the wearer to transform into Mystical creatures the Wizards called ‘The Guardian Beasts’. With the aid of these mystic armors the forces of good put up a worthy fight. But things took a turn, when a defected wizard from the council provided Dragos with the secrets to create the mystic armor pieces for his minions. With the secret of these armors at his Disposal, Dragos launched a ruthless attack destroying all who stood in his path including most of the Wizards.”

Animation
(But one Wizard survived. Master Surya, the most Powerful of the Wizards of Light, along with his apprentice(in shadow will be revealed towards the end of the season) managed to trick Dragos in his own Castle in the Blood cliffs & imprisoned him in the dimension from which the Shadow Legion emerged, The Hell Hole. “I will Return & with my vengeance I will smite you all”, were Dragos’ final words before he was pulled into the void.
Years passed & peace & prosperity returned to Lithopia under the leadership of the young King Vokan & his Queen Illeana.)

--------------------Act 1 : The Calm before the Storm (3-4 mins)------------------------
30 years have passed since Dragos’ banishment as the camera zooms in to the
The King & queen sat on the balcony & gazed at the beautiful horizon during the day. The King seemed extremely happy as they celebrated the banishment of Dragos at the end of every decade.
King Vokan: “Today is a glorious day for our people, Not only have thirty years passed since The Shadow legion has been banished, but it’s our son’s birthday as well. Are you not excited, my lady?”
The Queen, somehow, didn’t share the King’s excitement for this event. A grim look was seen on her face; her eyes mellowed by thoughts that constantly troubled her. She tried not to maintain an eye-to-eye contact with the King.
The King tried gently put his hands under her chin & raised her face trying to bring a smile on the sorrowful face.
King Vokan: “ What troubles you, Illeana. Today is not a day to remember the sorrows of the past. Today is a day of Celebration. A celebration of things to come!”
The Queen looked towards her husband, the troubled look did not seem to leave her face.
Queen Illeana: “That is what I’m worried about, my King….of things to come. What if the Prophecy comes true?”
King Vokan: “ I’ve taken every possible measure to avert such an event. I’ve even surrounded Dragos’ Fortress in the blood cliffs. No one will be allowed entrance.”
Queen Illeana: “That maybe. But you still can’t avert the Planet’s from aligning. No one can. And the Prophecy clearly states that Dragos will step foot on Lithopia when these planets are in perfect alignment.”
A frown suddenly appeared on the beautiful face.
King Vokan: “The Prophecy could very well be a myth. Do not trouble yourself with these thoughts.” He smiled.
Queen Illeana: “I assure you its no myth, My King.”
The king was taken aback. He felt the queen was hiding something from him & didn’t want to discuss it. He once again came forth.
King Vokan: “…And how could you be so sure…Illea…”
Suddenly the door to their room opened as a little boy, entered with a wooden sword & began running across the room as pretending he was fighting demons.
Little Boy: “Take that you vile being…” the boy spoke as he jabbed the sword against the bed “…and that!” he continued to play inside until the king lifted him up.
King Vokan: “Whoa there, my little protector of justice. You’ve got a big day ahead of you. We can’t have you fighting too many demons before you’re birthday, can we?”
The King then put the 10 year old on the floor. A smile suddenly appeared on the Queen’s face as she saw the boy run outside the room.
Queen Illeana: “My little prince of Hope. He’s destined for great things.”
King Vokan: “He is! He’s your son after all.” He smiled & spoke gently.
Queen Illeana: “As he is yours- The Greatest of the Minos Kings.”
With that they hugged & continued to watch over the preparations for the big celebration that night.
But they were not the only ones overlooking this auspicious event. A mysterious cloaked figure stood hunched on one of the walls & gazed on all that was happening. His face is not visible but his eyes glowed red.
“All is going as planned!” the creature spoke, in a rough yet hissing voice as his glowing red eyes narrowed. It then jumped down the wall & headed in the opposite direction.

---------Act 2 : The Two Thieves (3.50-4 mins)-----------------
As the sun began to set, fireworks lit the sky & brightened the Horizon. Thousands gathered in the giant compound of the palace cheering for the King & all he had achieved.
“All hail the greatest of Minos Kings” the crowd shouted in unison waiting for the king to address them.
King Vokan arrived on top of a grand balcony & raised his arms. The fireworks stopped & the people maintained silence.
King Vokan: “Today is a day of great joy. As always we, the sovereign nation of Lithopia celebrate another decade free of the Shadow Legion threat. But today I hold this celebration for yet another reason. It’s also been a decade since my son, Xeus, stepped into our lives & since then Lithopia has prospered like never before!”
The crowd gave a huge roar of excitement.
King Vokan gently caught the queen’s hand on the left & his son’s hand on the right raised them upwards & shouted, “Today my subjects, you feast like never before!”
The festivities continued.
In a dark corner of the palace two figures cautiously entered through an opening in a wall & made their way, down the steps. One appeared skinny, yet very sly, while the other was a larger, more stronger figure. Averting a few of the guards they reach the treasure room & give a big toothy grin. They had little trouble as the rest of the guards were placed for watching the celebration.
“Piece of cake! We’ll be in & out in no time” said the skinny one.
Meanwhile, at the festivities, the King once again found a look of sorrow in the Queen’s face & tried yet again to console here by pointing in the sky.
“Only a few more hours, my dear, before the alignment breaks. You see, there was no need to worry about …”
Suddenly a guard interrupted the King.
Guard: “Pardon the rude interruption, Sire…” The guard knelt down & spoke in the king’s ear.
The King’s eyes glowed with fear on hearing the news.
King Vokan: “The treasure chamber! But how?” He got up from his seat & both, him & the queen, rushed towards the crime scene to investigate.
The guard began to brief the king on the situation.
Guard: “Two of our men were knocked unconscious by the perpetrators. They have been sent for treatment. But the funny part is that the royal treasurer has found nothing missing.”
King Vokan: “But that’s senseless! Why would they simply invade my treasure room if they didn’t intend to steal anything…”
Queen Illeana interrupted: “Unless they knew what they were looking for & where they could find it!”
On reaching the treasure hall the queen rushed to the first story & pressed a brick which opened a secret wall. Her face turned pale with fear.
Queen Illeana: “They have the scepter of Darkness.” She spoke looking at the King.
King Vokan: “Guards report! Who were the perpetrators responsible for this theft.”
One of the guards stepped forward & described what he could make out the thieves.
The Captain stepped forward.
Captain of the guard: “Sounds like Glitch & Gorgo! They’re small time thieves wanted for petty thefts. Why would they suddenly aim to rob the Royal treasure hall?”
King Vokan: “They may have realized we had minimum security…”
Queen Illeana: “ Or maybe they were instructed by a certain entity who knows much more …”
King Vokan turned & ordered: “ I want a wide spread search party to trace down these theives1 King them at any cost & retrieve the scepter they have stolen. Inform the soldiers in the blood cliffs to make sure no one enters the fortress.”
As he turned he saw the queen on her knees, almost as if her spirit was broken. He knelt & raised her to her feet.
King Vokan: “I won’t let this happen. I can’t!”
The Queen looked up with despair in her eyes : “It already has. We must make the necessary arrangements.”
Suddenly Xeus enters the room, confused why his parents left the party. The Queen ran & hugged the 10 year old.
Queen Illeana: “I’m sorry my little Prince of hope. I never thought it would come to this.”
The King then hugged both of them: “Lets hope it doesn’t come to that.”
Ah well I'll start with the good news...I graduated last Wednesday scoring 79.3% & acquired my Bsc I.T degree. One of the happiest days of my life. Things were great.
Well yesterday, the results for the Animax Pan Asia competition were announced & unfortunately The Beast Legion didn't quite make it to the finals. I got to agree I was dissappointed as I had a little hope. Anyway this has only motivated me to write a new much better script for it the next time the competition is out. The only drawback being that it may not be animated by A1 Pictures. so I guess better luck next time.
I'll have the first part of the first chapter posted here on my blog itself in a few minutes.
Well stepped into athe transformers territory after quite some time with respect to fan art. I did the character below for a friend of mine from tfarchive.org. It his RPG character called FossilBite who is a TM2 Raptor...honestly I have no idea what that means in TF. Anyway sticking to the Raptor concept, I came up with the sketch & then colored it. I so need to get a hang of coloring metal. Anyway, Enjoy. :)
Well, as of now I dont really have a bio for the bug-man of the Shadow Legion. But in his Beast mode his shell makes him impervious to any attacks & his nose can pack a whallop. I'll have more on him until I actually think of using him for an episode.
Well this is a sort of cover art I coked up for the MOTU episode problem wuith power. It's simply my vision of a supposed cover. I know I'm far from mastering the Filmation style but I hope you like it.
It's been long since I posted the last pic. well the following pic was just something I did when the staction contest was going on. Zodak finds himself in a very tight spot as he is led into an ambush by King Hsss & faces Copperhead on the other end. I decided to use the MYP blue shading just for fun & imo it worked quite well. The size got a bit out of place though. Anyway heres leaving it to you to decide the outcome of this little confrontation. ;)
